Terms of Service

The rules and conditions that govern your use of InvoiceStream. Last updated: March 2026.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using InvoiceStream (“the Service”) at invoicestream.ai, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all users, including free users, paid subscribers, and any individual accessing the platform on behalf of a business entity.

2. Description of Service

InvoiceStream is a cloud-based invoicing, expense management, and financial reporting platform. Features include:

  • Invoice creation, management, and delivery
  • Expense tracking and AI-powered receipt OCR
  • Profit & Loss dashboards and financial reports
  • Multi-currency and multi-company support
  • Payment gateway integrations (Razorpay, Stripe, PayPal)
  • Subscription billing and recurring invoice management

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

3. Account Registration

To use InvoiceStream, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep it up to date.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@invoicestream.ai if you suspect unauthorised access.

You may not create an account on behalf of someone else without their explicit consent, or use another person’s account without permission.

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

Free Plan: Available at no cost with usage limits as described on our pricing page. We reserve the right to modify free plan limits with 30 days’ notice.

Paid Plans: Pro ($19/month) and Business ($39/month) plans are billed in advance. Annual billing is also available with a 20% discount. Enterprise pricing is available on request. Current pricing is always shown on our pricing page.

Payment: Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial months.

Price Changes: We may change subscription prices with 30 days’ advance notice. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new price.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
  • Create fraudulent invoices, misrepresent financial information, or use the platform for financial fraud
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
  • Upload malware, viruses, or any harmful code
  • Scrape, reverse-engineer, or copy any part of the Service without written permission
  • Use the Service to send unsolicited commercial communications (spam)
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Circumvent any rate limiting, access controls, or security measures

Violation of these terms may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.

6. Your Data and Intellectual Property

Your Content: You retain full ownership of all data, invoices, expenses, and information you input into InvoiceStream. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.

Licence to Us: You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the Service to you.

Our Content: The InvoiceStream platform, including its design, code, features, and branding, is our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, or distribute it without permission.

7. Data Privacy

Your use of InvoiceStream is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

8. Third-Party Services

InvoiceStream integrates with third-party services including Razorpay, Stripe, PayPal, Supabase, and AI Provider. Your use of these integrations is governed by their respective terms of service. We are not responsible for the conduct of these third parties.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

InvoiceStream is a billing tool and does not provide accounting, legal, or tax advice. You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of your invoices and compliance with applicable tax laws.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless InvoiceStream, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination:

  • Your access to the Service will be disabled
  • Your data will be retained for 30 days during which you may export it
  • After 30 days, your data will be permanently deleted

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately for violation of these Terms without prior notice or refund.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
