Cookie Policy

How InvoiceStream uses cookies, local storage, and similar technologies. Last updated: March 2026.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember your preferences, maintain your login session, and understand how you use the service. Local storage works similarly but stores data in your browser rather than as a file.

InvoiceStream uses a combination of cookies and browser local storage to provide a functional, personalised experience.

2. How We Use Cookies

We use cookies for the following purposes:

  • Authentication: To keep you logged in during your session
  • Preferences: To remember your settings such as selected company, language, and UI preferences
  • Security: To detect and prevent fraudulent or unauthorised access
  • Analytics: To understand how users navigate the platform so we can improve it (anonymised, opt-out available)
  • Infrastructure: Technical cookies required by our hosting and database providers

4. Third-Party Cookies

Some functionality on InvoiceStream involves third-party services that may set their own cookies:

  • Razorpay: Payment processing cookies for secure transaction handling
  • Stripe: Fraud prevention and payment session cookies
  • PayPal: Authentication and session cookies for PayPal checkout flows

These third parties have their own privacy and cookie policies. We recommend reviewing them directly.

5. Managing Your Cookie Preferences

You have several options for managing cookies:

Browser Settings: Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies through their settings. Note that blocking essential cookies will prevent InvoiceStream from functioning correctly (you will not be able to stay logged in).

Analytics Opt-Out: You can opt out of analytics tracking by emailing privacy@invoicestream.ai with your account email.

Local Storage: You can clear local storage through your browser’s developer tools or by clearing your browsing data. This will reset your company selection and preferences.

6. Essential vs. Optional Cookies

✓ Essential (Required)

Authentication, session management, and security cookies. These cannot be disabled as they are required for the platform to work.

⚙ Optional (Can be declined)

Analytics and usage tracking cookies. Declining these does not affect platform functionality but limits our ability to improve the product.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “last updated” date. Continued use of InvoiceStream after changes constitutes acceptance.
